Dr. Gaurang Baxi is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Medical Education Technology and Teachers' Training, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. A Fellow and Faculty of the GSMC-FAIMER Regional Institute and a Fellow of the International FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia, he has been recognized globally for his contributions to medical and health sciences education.
He is also a Certified International Manual Therapy Instructor, credentialed by the Capri Institute of Manual Therapy, New Delhi. Over the course of his career, Dr. Baxi has received more than 30 prestigious awards in the fields of medical education and research, including:
Innovative Teaching Award – Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune (2019)
Young Achiever Award – Indian Association of Physiotherapists (2019)
Research Maestro Award – for contributions to Evidence-Based Physiotherapy, Indian Association of Physiotherapists (2022)

With over 15 years of experience as a dedicated academician and researcher, Dr. Baxi is known for his learner-centered approach and commitment to academic excellence. He plays an active role in academic governance, serving on Boards of Studies across several universities and leading numerous educational and leadership initiatives.
A prolific author with over 90 research publications, Dr. Baxi is deeply passionate about mentoring faculty, PhD scholars, and students. His mentoring philosophy is rooted in intellectual rigor, attention to detail, and a strong belief in empowering the next generation of healthcare educators and professionals.
